I’m an anthropologist who is passionate about the meanings that people ascribe to food in different cultures, and how these meanings shape their everyday habits. I conduct research projects from initial briefing to fieldwork, analysis, writing, and beyond, with direct responsibility for the day-to-day management of processes and workflow. I am born and raised in Italy and I lived in China, Ireland, Sweden, Singapore, and Denmark. I speak Mandarin and I have a deep connection with and extensive knowledge of Chinese culture and society. Currently, I am pursuing a double Ph.D. degree in Denmark and China. My research project answers questions about how people choose and practice sustainable food consumption in these two contexts.

Recent Projects
I don’t have one — by which I mean, I am concerned with the success of the project and the team, not with the use of a particular workflow to get there. I work with stakeholders to design a process that makes sense for the organization and supports its goals and constantly check in to see how it’s performing.
